Main Characters

Holly Higgins: Played by Holly Larocque.

Holly is the main human character on the show. She rents the apartment and works as a freelance artist. Her self-run business is called Holly’s Art Service, but she often works for “the magazine” as well. Holly is smart, kind, a great singer, and often unintentionally funny. She is the responsible “adult” of the roommates and helps to take care of her friends Gloria, Iggy, and Jacob. Her full name is Holly Penelope Higgins.

Gloria Gopher: Voiced and puppeteered by Noreen Young.

Gloria is one of the roommates who lives with Holly. She is a fun-loving young Gopher who sleeps down in a burrow underneath the umbrella tree in the apartment. Gloria is spunky and outgoing, and enjoys singing, sports, and collecting hats. She can sometimes be overly confident, which gets her into trouble. Her full name is Gloria Gladys Grace Gabrielle Gardenia Glenda Gale Gopher.

Iggy Iguana: Voiced and puppeteered by Bob Stutt.

Iggy is another one of Holly’s roommates, an iguana who sleeps at the bottom of a bookshelf in the apartment. He is a jokester and loves to play tricks on his friends. He can play guitar and sing, and has a bow tie collection. Iggy often gets himself into trouble, but he always apologizes and makes right in the end. His full name is Ignatz Julio Iguana.

Jacob Bluejay: Voiced and puppeteered by Stephen Brathwaite.

Jacob lives with Holly, Iggy, and Gloria- but he was the first out of all of them to live in the apartment building. He sleeps in his birdhouse out on the deck. He is a bit of a birdbrain and doesn’t always think before he acts. His catchphrase is “I knew that!” He likes baseball, going for fly-arounds, and thinks he’s a good singer. His full name is Jacob Barnaby Blue.

Secondary Characters

Mitzi the Dog: Voiced by Holly Larocque, puppeteered by Stephen Brathwaite

Mitzi is Gloria’s best friend, a spunky dog who likes to tag along on adventures with the gang, and sometimes gets herself and Gloria into trouble.

Mrs McMurtry: Voiced and puppeteered by Noreen Young

Gwendolyn McMurtry, or Mrs. M as her friends call her, is the gang’s next door neighbor. She always wears fancy hats and jewelry and enjoys knitting and baking.

Chuck Chickadee: Voiced and puppeteered by Bob Stutt

Chuck is Jacob’s friend- an extremely energetic and busy bird who talks in very fast, run on sentences. His parents are Mr & Mrs Chickadee (Chester and Charleen), and his little sister is Chelsea.
